Northgate Neighbors...Giving you a "green thumbs" up!

It's officially Spring...even though the weather may suggest otherwise. Cadbury Eggs and Peeps have become a regular part of our diet and with another sugar-induced holiday behind us...it's time to get some greens into our lives!

Love city living but still want that little patch of green to grow some fresh herbs or cherry tomatoes? The Maple Leaf P-Patch, a community garden, is designed to offer neighbors a spot in the sun, a plot to plant and a place to volunteer. Founded over 30 years ago by the Picardo Farm, the program includes more than 60 gardens with over 1,900 plots on 12-acres of land.

Looking to put a little green into your pocket instead of your stomach? The Thornton Place Spring Sales Program may just do the trick. Click here to learn more!
